Messed up seasoning my Misen carbon steel. Oil was not thin enough layer.  How can I fix this? I tried eggs and it stuck a bit. I cleaned with soap  and sponge

Beginner here, Ikea carbon steel seasoning with vegetable oil in the oven  for one hour on 300F. The surface has become sticky. I washed it couple of  times before. Any advice? :

My 'blackest' carbon steel pan in my collection. I never sear at high heat  in this pan and only wash it in hot water. Not so with my 4 other carbon  steel

Made-in 12” blue carbon steel wok. Blued, seasoned ALL DAY with a thin  layer of made in seasoning wax, heated till smoking, cooled down.  Occasionally I did a layer of vegetable oil.

Believe it or not, this is a well seasoned pan. It will do fried eggs or  omelettes just as well as any non-stick pan I have ever owned. The lighter  areas tell
